A dominant victory for Gull Lake Mayor Blake Campbell in their election yesterday re-affirmed his plans for the town, as he beat his challenger Susan Davies 256 to 71.
The plan is to get right back to their strategy of attracting new business to Gull Lake.
"We were kind of in the middle of something, now we'll be able to carry that forward," said Campbell following the election results last night, "we're going to continue with our marketing and promoting our subdivision, and we're going to look at some of the different ways to attract new residents to town, and again looking for more light industrial, we're very pleased with the councillers who got in."
There's a mix of old and new faces on Gull Lake council as three members were incumbents and three will be serving their first term.
