The Provincial and Federal governments are setting aside $3.2 million in funding to improve the TransCanada Highway near Rush Lake.
Seventeen kilometres on the eastbound lanes of the highway will be paved in the project.
The funding is part of a plan to accelerate infrastructure funding across the province, through the $116 million Infrastructure Stimulus Fund.
One hundred fifty infrastructure projects across Saskatchewan are benefitting from the fund.
