The Trans-Canada Highway west of Maple Creek has re-opened to traffic following recent flooding in the area.

Motorists are advised that Highway 1 will now operate as a two-lane highway for about 3 km.

For westbound traffic, the two-lane section starts about 2 km west of the Highway 21 junction.  For eastbound traffic, the two-lane section starts about 14 km east of the railway overpass on Highway 1.

Motorists are advised to reduce speeds, and be cautious and alert in the area.
