Part of the event is the Young Ranchman's All Breed Show which starts today and runs throughout the weekend.

The banquet on Saturday evening will honor ten year old Cody Sibbald, who died tragically this summer. Cody was a Junior Exhibitor of the Young Ranchman's Youth Livestock Show, and was very active in the 4H Show.

The Cody Sibbald Legacy Fund as been set up, as coordinator of the Young Ranchman's All Breed Youth Livestock Show, Mary Kate Robertson says, “We started to receive phone calls from people wanting to help us honor Cody's memory. Our committee of nine people came up with the idea of the Legacy Fund, after meeting with the Sibbald family, it was decided to set up a Legacy Fund that will benefit the other junior participants of the Young Ranchman's Youth Livestock Show.”

The Fund provides travel and educational scholarships opportunities for Young Ranchman participants.

Four awards will be presented at the banquet on Saturday evening.

Also, there has been on ongoing Facebook Auction of items and on Auction items for Saturday evening as well as Robertson explains. “There's a variety of items, and it's unbelievable. We have kids Muck boots, towel sets, there's homemade pickles and cinnamon buns. We've had a load of hay. And the second part of this is we had some larger items donated. There was a heifer, we've had embryos, there's a custom buckle.”

The auction Saturday evening will also be streamed live, and organizers expect upwards of 350 people to attend the banquet.

They would like to thank everyone for their donations, and their bids.
