A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle near downtown Swift Current last weekend, and RCMP are looking for the suspect.
Police say at around 10:00pm on Friday, a jogger was hit from behind while crossing the intersection of 3rd Avenue Northeast and Cheadle Street... the male pedestrian was knocked to the ground and had his shoe knocked off.
The victim was sent to hospital and is recovering from his injuries.
The driver fled the scene without reporting the incident... Police say the suspect was driving a silver Pontiac Sunfire or Chevy Cavalier with tinted windows.
Those with information are asked to contact City RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
