With summer just around the corner, the Swift Current Agricultural and Exhibition Association has put the call out for individuals or organizations to register floats for the 2023 Frontier Days Parade.

The parade, which will kick off at 10:00 a.m. on Canada Day, will coincide with the 85th anniversary of Frontier Days.

Madison Beam, Director of Youth Initiatives for the Swift Current Ag & Ex, said the theme for this year's parade is ‘Let’s Celebrate’.

“We're just hoping to celebrate Frontier Days and 85 years is a lot of years for Frontier Days to happen,” she elaborated. “We just really want people to be excited and celebrate Swift Current, celebrate the Western way of life and just celebrate.”

Beam added that all forms can be found online.

“You can just go to the Ag & Ex website, go to ‘Frontier Days’ and click that and drop list will come down and you just pick ‘parade’ and you can find that form there.

Residents have until June 2 to submit an application for the parade.
