The Saskatchewan New Democrats are saying that the Brad Wall government is failing to deliver better healthcare in rural Saskatchewan.

Leader Dwain Lingenfelter says the transplant system has been shut down, chiropractic services are being cut, surgical wait times are up 90% in some areas, and doctor vacancies are up by 50%.  He adds that doctor vacancies are causing rural hospitals to close from time-to-time, and Wall is not helping those communities recruit doctors, which is causing rural patients to travel hundreds of miles for treatment.

Lingenfelter adds, when Wall was elected, he said he would reduce waiting lists, and promised that he wouldn't cut chiropractic services, but Wall's government has failed to follow through in all of those areas.

Lingenfelter will be back in Swift Current later this week, as he will be the special guest speaker at the Swift Current Constituency NDP Fundraising Banquet on Thursday night.
