The Swift Current Public Library can now be called an award winning Library.

The Chinook Regional Library Board dubbed the Public Library the 2006 Library of the Year.

Librarian, Manisha Khetarpal, says they worked hard to receive this award, providing the public with exceptional service, offering top notch programming, and working to make the Library experience a positive one.

This is the 2nd time that the Public Library has received the award. The 1st time was in 2001.
