Shaunavon and Ponteix RCMP uncover marijuana grow op near Admiral
Two suspects are in custody after Shaunavon and Ponteix RCMP attended to a farm near Admiral based on a complaint from the landowner.
A search of his empty farmhouse turned up a stolen Jeep and cargo trailer filled with tools and construction materials. A large amount of hand and power tools were also recovered, and a marijuana grow op valued at over $30,000 was found.
The suspects have been charged with Possession of Stolen Property, with further charges anticipated. The two will make their first appearance in Swift Current Provincial Court Friday morning.
The investigation is ongoing at this time. RCMP Forensic Identification is currently processing exhibits from this search.
