Swift Current's growth has made 2007 a record-breaking year, and a huge success.

     The grand opening of the new hospital and the sod turning for the Living Sky Casino are two highlights according to Swift Current's Mayor.

     Mayor Sandy Larson says 2008 will also hold some challenges for the city.  She says infrastructure will also be a priority as the population of Swift Current continues to grow.

     Larson adds they will also be making the Highway 1 and 4 bypass their number one priority in the new year.
