Maple Leaf Foods has further expanded a recall of its meat products, after a link was found to a major, nationwide Listeria outbreak.

The company has now pulled all meat products that were manuafctured at a plant in Toronto after it was confirmed to be the source of the dangerous foodborne bacteria that has killed four people in Canada.

This goes beyond the initial recall of 23 ready-to-eat products made earlier this month.

The investigation continues into how the bacteria entered the plant, which has been closed since Thursday for cleaning.

A complete and up-to-date list of all the products affected by the recall can be found at inspection.gc.ca.
