The Ford World Women's Curling Championship has hit the halfway point in Swift Current, and if you haven't checked out the great curling, you are running out of time with the round-robin wrapping up Thursday and the playoffs happening this weekend.

Magic 97 broadcasted live from the Golden West booth at the Swift Current Curling Club on Tuesday afternoon and lots of great people stopped by to chat with us, including Swift Current Mayor Jerrod Schafer. Jerrod met his wife Kelly when the Worlds were last in Swift Current in 2010 while she was playing third for Eve Muirhead's rink from Scotland, and that love story is being shared around the world.

There has been some great entertainment at the Patch this week, inlcuding Trevor Panczak of Lethbridge who performed on Sunday and Tuesday night. He also joined us on Tuesday.

Some fans from all over the world stopped by our booth as well, including Robbie Scott of Scotland, who is attending his 32nd World Curling Championship.

Stop by our booth to pick up a "Carey us to Victory" poster for Team Canada to sign at their autograph session in the patch at 5:15!

Chelsea Carey and Team Canada had a couple of big wins on Tuesday, and also met with fans at an autograph session in the Patch that afternoon. We made copies of the "Carey us to Victory" photo that we post on Facebook and Twitter after evey Canada win, and had them at our booth for fans to pick up and have them signed by the team. They went very quickly but when I wanted to make more copies, I broke the media room copier...

My bad.

Action at the Ford Worlds continues to Sunday at the Credit Union iplex, and there are still some tickets left at curling.ca/tickets or at the Broncos office.
