Ponteix RCMP are investigating a theft of grain from earlier in 2020.

Police state that over 5000 bushels of organic spring wheat were stolen from bins near the Hamlet of McCord. The RCMP say the theft occurred sometime between January 1 and February 23 of this year.

The organic spring wheat is valued at $68,000.

The provided legal land description of the site of the theft is SW-8-5-7-W3.

The RCMP release also states that the suspects "would have used grain or Super B trucks, along with loading equipment to remove the grain from the bins."

Ponteix RCMP are asking those with information related to the investigation to call the detachment at 306-625-6400. The investigation has the file number 2020-543762.
