The recently opened Revolution Automotive will be putting on a barbecue this afternoon to make a difference.

The locally owned-and-operated Revolution Automotive opened in the beginning of July and now hopes to make it official with a charitable event.

Montana Gammel is the Red Seal-certified technician who opened the shop.

“We’ve been open for a couple of months, but we decided to make it official and have a charity barbecue in support of the SPCA at the same time,” she said.

They will be serving hotdogs and burgers with a drink for just $5.00, with all proceeds going to help the animals of the community.

If you attend the event and donate to the cause, your name will be put into a draw for a chance to win an oil change, a wheel alignment, or some Revolution Automotive merchandise.

The location is a full automotive shop, that provides almost all automotive services and repairs, along with carrying a large selection of tires, and OEM or aftermarket parts.

The shop is located at 620 Knight Crescent.
