The T. Rex Discovery Centre located just outside of Eastend

The T. Rex Discovery Centre in Eastend is getting a big lift from SaskEnergy.

The Crown Corporation announced yesterday that they have signed a three-year, $75,000 agreement with the centre, to assist with operations and further development of educational programs.

Jayne Werry, Outreach Co-ordinator for the Centre, says their support means the centre can expand and offer educational programs to a broader audience in Saskatchewan and beyond.

The T. Rex Discovery Centre officially opened in 2000, and is home to "Scotty", the most complete Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton in the country. SaskEnergy has offered support to the centre since its early planning stages in 1998.
