It was only fitting that a thoroughly entertaining championship weekend came down to a last-rock draw to win a Canadian...

Congratulations to Chelsea Carey and her rink from the Glencoe Curling Club in Calgary, who won the Scotties Tournament of Hearts Final in Grande Prairie, Alberta on Sunday. Team Alberta was the top team all week, going 9-and-2 in the round-robin, defeating defending Scotties champ Jennifer Jones 7-5 in Friday's 1 vs. 2 Page Playoff game, and then capping off the event with a 7-6 win over Krista McCarville and Team Northern Ontario in the final.

Carey and her team will be coming to Swift Current next month as the Ford World Women's Curling Championship returns to the southwest March 19-27 at the Credit Union iplex. They will join a field already containing some great teams, including former World Champions Eve Muirhead of Scotland and Binia Feltscher of Switzerland, who are both returning to Swift Current after representing their countries here in 2010.

Tickets for the event are still available online or by calling 306-773-1509, but if you want to win tickets, we kicked off "Ten Ends on Us" for a chance to play some Street Curling to win some tickets to the Ford Worlds, including Championship weekend tickets! If you haven't printed off your scorecard, you can do that here (or stop by our studios at 134 Central Ave N to pick one up if you don't have a printer at home), and listen for the secret words every day until March 11th!
