A possible structure fire called Shaunavon Fire Crews into action on Tuesday.
Shaunavon Fire Chief, Dean McNabb, says shortly after 1:00pm that afternoon, crews responded to a call from the Canalta Hotel on 3rd Ave E at Highway 37. No fire was found, however smoke forced the evacuation of guests and staff for a short period. The smoke was caused by some minor electrical issues.
No injuries were reported.
