The Shaunavon Sheep Dog Classic returns this weekend.
"It's sanctioned through the USBCHA, United States Boarder Collies Handlers Association," said Jamie Van RanRhyn, the event organizer. "We are also running the Western Canadian Finals this year. The top dogs that have qualified for this from Western Canada, so basically your seeing some of the top dogs in the country come and run here."
It all kicks off at eight o'clock this morning and continues through Friday and Saturday featuring over 55 dogs and their handlers.
The event will be held on a farm site one mile west of Shaunavon. Just travel west down government road, cross highway thirty seven and out past Trans Canada Pipelines office.
