This weekend in Eastend, it's the 3rd Annual Crohn's and Colitis Fundraiser.

Last year's fundraiser raised just over $110,000 for Crohn's and Colitis research and community projects in Eastend.

"Fifty per cent will go to Crohn's and Colitis, 10% to the rink, 10% to the swimming pool, 10% to the new splash park, 15% to the playground at the school, and then we keep 5% just to donate to various things throughout the year that are looking for money," said Organizer Cam van Sandt.

The weekend starts today with a warm-up clay pigeon shoot at the Gun Range for sponsors, then the shoot out happens tomorrow from 10:00am to 3:00pm, followed by supper and entertainment at the Eastend Rink Complex.

"Doors open at 6:00pm, supper's at 7:00pm, and we have a comedian to follow at 8:00pm," van Sandt added. "When that's done, the band starts and then we do a live auction and raffle off some door prizes."

Tickets are available by calling Craig at 306-295-7307 or Cam at 306-295-7100.
