RCMP reminding drivers to slow down to 60 kilometers per hour when passing emergency vehicles or tow trucks with their lights flashing.

This following two accidents on Highway 11.

Around noon on Christmas Eve, RCMP and ambulance were attending the scene of an accident when a northbound car driven by a Weyburn resident struck the police car.

No one was seriously injured, but police say the driver could be charged with failing to slow to 60 when passing an emergency vehicle with its lights flashing.

The second accident occurred on Wednesday, when a semi collided with a RCMP vehicle that was stopped to issue a ticket.

Fines range from $140 to $410 depending on the speed zone and the speed the vehicle is travelling.
