Smoke from BC forest fires blanketed much of the prairies, including southwest Saskatchewan, over the weekend, and it appears it may be going away.

Environment Canada says a low pressure system in BC won't deliver much rain to the wildfires that are generating the smoke, but they won't make things worse. They add another low system that's been forming in Montana, along with the one in BC, should draw winds from the north pushing smoke away from prairie cities.

Smoke may not be a problem today, but thundershowers could be. You can get the details by clicking the weather link on SwiftCurrentOnline.com.
