Following tomorrow's strike, teachers in the southwest will be withdrawing noon hour supervision on Thursday.

The Saskatchewan Teachers Federation announced the rotating job action this morning to give families extra time to make arrangements.

All members of the STF in the Chinook School Division will be taking part in Thursday's sanctions.

Withdrawal of noon hour supervision means teachers, principals, and vice-principals will not supervise students who are eating lunch at school or taking part in noon hour activities.

Parents and caregivers who are concerned about the impact of strikes and withdrawals of supervision are advised by the STF to contact local MLAs or school board trustees.
