Saskatchewan is well-positioned to continue strong and steady growth in 2009, according to Premier Brad Wall.

Wall says there will still be growth in Saskatchewan and, relative to the rest of the world, our economic performance will be very strong.

Saskatchewan's retail trade was up 12.9 percent; exports are up more than 90 percent compared to last October; and wholesale trade was up 40 percent compared to last year.

Saskatchewan's population grew by just over 15,000 people from October last year to October this year.

Wall adds that Saskatchewan's growth will be further cemented by infrastructure investments in the province by our government and the Federal government.
