Thursday was opening night for the Great Plains College SunDogs men’s and women’s Volleyball teams . The college also held their annual Proud Parent night so there was a large crowd on hand to watch the matches.
The SunDogs Hosted Millar Edge in their home opener. The women’s team were first on the court and the best of 5 sets went the distance. In the 5th set thee Edge got an early lead and never looked back to win 15-12.

The men's match was another story as the SunDogs swept all three sets including a tight 26-24 victory in the third.
The men's team are defending champions but have a completely new roster this season.
