Today marks one year since Kandice Marie Singbeil was last seen riding her bicycle in Saskatoon’s downtown area.

She is originally from Swift Current but was living in Saskatoon at the time of her disappearance.

The investigation into Singbeil's disappearance remains active and officers continue to request public assistance in finding her. Her disappearance is being treated as suspicious.

"We were able to find images of Kandice since she was last seen in the downtown area about 1am on May 26. She was was riding her distinctive Cruiser Classic Bicycle at the time," said Alyson Edwards, Director of Public affairs for the Saskatoon Police. "We've tried to keep people's attention on the investigation, hoping that someone who knows something would come forward with that information.

Kandice, known by her friends as “Kae”, would now be 33 years old.   A year ago she had dyed blonde hair cut just above the shoulders and brown eyes.  She’s 5’4” and weighs 166 lbs.  She was last seen wearing a black jacket and dark coloured pants. She was riding a dark coloured “Supercycle Cruiser Classic” with whitewall tires and a wood grained chain guard.

"We haven't had any leads that have led us to Kandice in locating her. She has a family who loves her - two young children who miss their mom. We want to do everything we can to remind people that Kandice is still missing and that they may have information that could help us.

To mark the anniversary and to raise awareness about the investigation the Singbeil family is planning a memorial walk on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. beginning at Saskatoon  Headquarters and ending at the River Landing with a candlelight vigil.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
