More information has been released after a deadly collision on Hwy 39 Wednesday afternoon.
Moose Jaw RCMP have determined that both vehicles collided head on. Both drivers involved, died due to injuries sustained. A 45 year old man from the Nipawin area and a 26 year old woman from Cold Lake, Alberta, have been identified.
Alcohol does not appear to have been a factor according to police and seatbelts were being worn by both drivers.
Names are not yet being released. The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
The highway has since been reopened to traffic.
