Two Shaunavon men appeared in Provincial Court in Shaunavon this past Thursday November 4.

Steven King was initially supposed to be on trial for assault with a weapon, however the matter was resolved with the accused so the case did not go to trial. King will be part of an Alternative Measures Program.

He was also supposed to speak to charges of possession of child pornography the same day. He had submitted an application for court appointed council which was not approved and the judge ordered he supply more information. King's child pornography possession charge is scheduled to be spoken to again on December 2 in Shaunavon Provincial Court

And twenty-five year old Joshua Gillrie appeared on a Possession of Child Pornography charge.

He is being represented by legal aide and asked for an adjournment of his case to December 2 in Shaunavon.
