Knowleton Blacksmith and Adam Zinger arriving in Swift Current Provincial Court.

The drug trafficking case involving Adam and Kristina Zinger, along with Knowleton Blacksmith has been adjourned to Jan 11th of next year.

Knowleton Blacksmith arrived late this morning to the Swift Current Provincial Court while Adam and Kristina Zinger each appeared seperatly via video conference.

Last month, Swift Current RCMP responded to a complaint of a trio selling drugs in the parking lot of business on the North East Service Road.

Police located and arrested Adam and Kristina Zinger, along with Knowleton Blacksmith - discovering over a 1000 pills being located in a vehicle.  

Crown prosecutor Glen Herman outlines the charges that the three are facing.

"Each of them is facing a five-count information with five separate charges for possession for the purposes of trafficking, in various controlled substances. And in each individual case, they are also individually charged with breaches of various release documents. In the case of the Zingers, they've both been released on undertakings out of Medicine Hat, and are alleged to have violated those. And in the case of Mr. Blacksmith, he's on a probation order out of Calgary, Alberta and he's alleged to have breached that order, as well," Herman said.

Adam and Kristina Zinger were denied bail on November 19th, while their alleged accomplice, Knowleton Blacksmith, was released on bail under strict conditions. Going forward, the tentative court dates of March 23rd and 24th, 2016 are still being held.
