Just like that, the Swift Current Broncos officially made their 2020 first-round WHL Bantam Draft selection the newest signed prospect of the organization.

Regina Bantam AA Monarchs forward Brady Birnie - snagged 21st overall - inked a WHL Standard Player Agreement on the first day of May.

Birnie becomes the second of three first-rounders selected by Broncos head coach and director of hockey operations, Dean Brockman, to sign a WHL SPA. The 14th overall pick in 2019, Mat Ward, was the first draft signee of the Brockman era in the southwest.
