39 of 42 Colt and Arden Athletes have qualified for districts after the Rolling Hills track meet was held in Swift Current yesterday.
That number is higher than Comp Track and Field Coach Mandi Tuplin originally expected and it could make for a larger number moving from districts to provincials.
"The mindset is to finish top two so we can move on to provincials," Tuplin said. "Hopefully everyone competing there has that as their main goal. I originally thought 25, but now I'm hoping 30."
On top of finishing with the most points in every age class the comp had 55 first place finishes coming from 42 athletes.
Emily Erlandson broke the Senior Girls Long Jump and triple jump records.
