The Swift Current Broncos may find that there isn't enough ice to go around for its talented blue line this season.

With two 20-year-olds in R.J. Larochelle and Mike Wilson, 19-year-old Spencer McAvoy, four capable and developing 18-year-olds, and rookie 16-year-old Joel Rogers, the Broncos have some options.

Eighteen-year-old Eric Doyle is aware of the situation.  "It's a special group of guys.  I've personally never been on a team with so many good d-men.  I don't know how coaches are going to divvy it up.  I'm sure no matter what happens, it's good for the team and we have guys capable of doing the job.  I guess you're just going to have to suck it up if you don't get the minutes, because it's all about the team now."

The Broncos' roster was shortened to 25 players, with the reassignment of 17-year-old forward Kris Foucault back to "AAA" Midget in Calgary.

The Broncos open the season Friday night in Moose Jaw.
