It was another big year for the Saskatchewan Roughriders as the football club reported a $1.6 million profit at yesterday's annual general meeting.
The profit was boosted by a record $28 million in revenue, which was mainly made through merchandise sales.
The club also extended the contract of President and CEO Jim Hopson through 2011.
The Riders continue pre-seaon play on Tuesday when they host Calgary.
