Minor hockey is just starting to get underway in the southwest.

The Home Hardware Midget AAA Legionnaires open the regular season tonight in Moose Jaw, and their home opener is tomorrow afternoon against the Generals. Face-off is at 3:15 from the Credit Union iplex.

The K-Motel Midget AA Hurricanes begin the season with an exhibition game tonight against Moose Jaw from the Fairview Arenas at 7:00pm. The regular season opens October 1st at home against the Notre Dame Hounds.

The Kabos Bantam AA Raiders take on the West Central Wheat Kings in exhibition action today at 2:00 from the Fairview. It's the first year for the Raiders in a new provincial Bantam AA league. They visit the Melville Millionaires to open the regular season on October 1st, and their home opener is October 9th against Weyburn.
