Two local players are set to show what they've got on the world stage at the World Under-17 Challenge in Drummondville and Victoriaville, Quebec.
Broncos Defenceman Brycen Martin is on Team Pacific, while Prince Albert Raiders forward and Swift Current product Tim Vanstone will suit up for Team West.
Pacific takes on the USA while Team West battles Slovakia in exhibition games today, and the tournament's round-robin opens Saturday with West taking on Sweden, and Pacific battling Russia.
The Broncos, meanwhile, return to action tonight when they host the Medicine Hat Tigers. Face-off is at 7:00pm from the Credit Union iplex
