Game 1 of a best-of-three series belongs to the SWT Pee Wee AA Broncos after they handed the visiting Moose Jaw Pee Wee Warriors a 7-2 loss Friday night at Fairview East.

The third-place Pee Wee Broncos led 4-1 over the sixth-place Warriors after the first period, which would prove to be more than enough of a gap. Three more Swift shots found the back of the net in the third period to put the game well out of reach.

Hunter Arntsen picked up the win in net for the Pee Wee Broncos, who were led by three multi-point games on the offensive end.

Forward Brayden Sumner led the way with two goals and a pair of assists, Connor Choo Foo had a goal and two assists, and Madden Wallis scored and had a helper as well.

Carter Herman, Carson Sabine, and Cade Stringer also found the back of the net in the win for the Pee Wee Broncos. Rylan Williams and Hudson Darby recorded single assists.

Pushing the last-place Pee Wee Warriors to the brink of elimination in their opening-round series, Swift heads down the Trans-Canada for Game 2 on Saturday.

The Pee Wee Broncos look for a sweep on the road starting at 5:15 p.m. from Bert Hunt arena in Moose Jaw.
