A rough one for the Midget AAA Indians last night.

The spotted the Regina Athletics 10 runs in the first two innings and fell 16-6. George Hudec scored twice and drove in a run in a losing cause. They now have a week off to re-group.

Meanwhile, the Pee Wee AA coaching staff was relatively pleased with their play in a split double header against the Regina Pacers on the weekend, “We had to pretty good games, we've seen some really good pitching the first game and the guys really stepped it up for the second game.” said Coach Mike Kozyn, “They learnt a lot from the first game the guys really stepped it up for the second game.”

Kozyn said that they're a young team that should be competitive in every game they play, “We're going to do very well, I've said before we're young, a little raw, but that's good to have. The boys want to be there so their skill level is going to go up very quickly and were going to compete every game.”

The Pee Wee club is testing themselves this coming weekend as they participate in a AAA tournament in Regina.

Kozyn hopes the tough competition pushes them to be better.
