Special Olympics Swift Current swimmer Katie Durant earned two bronze medals at the Special Olympics Canada Summer Games yesterday in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.

Durant placed third in the 100m Breaststroke with a time of 1:56.40, and did the same in the 100m Individual Medley with a mark of 1:55.14.

The Swift Current swimmer is back competing in a trio of races today. Durant is in the field for the 200m Backstroke, 200m Breaststroke, and 50m Breaststroke.

The national bronze-medalist will also be competing in the the 200m Freestyle and relays, which run Friday and Saturday, respectively.
