The W-H-L Playoffs started last night on six fronts.

The Moose Jaw Warriors opened their series against Cody Eakin and the Kootenay Ice with a 4-0 win in game one in Cranbrook. Other action saw Brandon pounding Medicine Hat 7-2 on the road, Red Deer got by Edmonton 5-3, Kelowna beat Prince George 4-1, Tri-City beat Vancouver 2-1 in overtime, and Spokane beat Chilliwack 3-2, also in OT.

 

Eight games are on tap tonight with the second games of those series, and the opening of the series between Portland and Everett, and Saskatoon and Prince Albert.
