Patrick Ullyott scored the overtime winner for the Watrous Winterhawks as they beat the Gull Lake Greyhounds 3-2 to capture the Senior Men's Provincial B Hockey Title last night.

Winterhawks forward Trent Campbell opened the scoring late in the second period and scored 45 seconds later to give Watrous a 2-0 lead after two periods.
The Greyhounds responded earlier in the third period as defenceman Ty Vallee scored cutting the deficit to one.

Five minutes later Quinnipiac alum and Greyhounds forward Clay Harvey scored his first of the series to tie the game at 2-2 and force overtime.

Early in the overtime frame, Clay Cooke was penalized for checking from behind opening the door for the Winterhawks.

With 1 second left on the powerplay Ullyott was able to poke a loose puck past Greyhound goaltender Joel Graham to win the Provincial Title.
With the win, the Winterhawks snapped Gull Lakes chance at a third straight provincial title (2014-15 D title, 2015-16 C title).
