On October 31 Andy Keyes and a team of volunteers created an entire haunted village for Halloween that was open to the public and featured spooky tours and wagon rides. They donated all the proceeds to the Swift Current SPCA.

On top of that Andy is deeply passionate about honoring our veterans, our soldiers, our heroes and every Remembrance Day the former soldier volunteers many hours to the poppy campaign, and organizaing events, services, and activities for it and in conjunction with it. Andy says during his time in the army he served in some of the places that saw major battles in World War II and it really came to light when he attended the 50th anniversary of D-Day and his squadron in the second world war supported the Canadain Army at Juno Beach.  He says remembering those that made the ultimate sacrifice for Canada and our brave soldiers and veterans is very important and they'll always be a big part of Canadian history.

Andy gets' a gift card from Schultz's Ranch Country Meats in Morse for being this weeks eagle applause recipient. Congratulations and thank you Andy!!
