Farm Credit Canada will continue its Drive Away Hunger tractor tour this year, and the tour will be traveling through Swift Current on Thursday.

Now in its 12th year, the FCC Drive Away Hunger has a tractor and trailer drive through communities, accepting cash and food donations from locals across the country. The program has provided over 22 million meals since 2004.

Brent Bender, Senior District Director with the FCC says everything collected stays within the Swift Current community.

"On Thursday we will have a tractor and trailer going through Swift Current to about 20 different locations. Schools, businesses and different partners that have been helping us over the years collect food and cash donations.  All the proceeds from the day will go to the local food bank."

Below is the schedule for the tour throughout Swift Current on Thursday.
