Numbers are down, and the call is out to anyone who is interested in becoming a First Responder.

There has been a steady decline of First Responders, and Director for EMS Krista Conders explains that training for EMS can take place in the area.

In order to become a First Responder, 48 hours of EMS training is required, which includes basic First Aid and CPR, and goes into how to deal with medical trauma and emergencies.

Anyone who is interested in becoming a First Responder can visit the nearest EMS location for more information.
