Donations make a difference at this time of year.

 

Salem Lutheran Church in Shaunavon is in charge of collecting and distributing Christmas Food Hampers once again this year.

People who would like to receive a Food Hamper this Christmas are encouraged to call the Church Office at 297-2525..leave your name and contact information and someone will call you back to gather more information.

The deadline to apply for a Christmas Food Hamper is December first.

Kim Anderson from Salem Lutheran Church says, "We've had a few people call already. I know last year we did 55 Hampers and I'm kind of expecting that we'll have at least that many if not more."

Anderson adds that collection boxes are set up at various Shaunavon businesses and anyone that would like to make a cash donation can mail it to the Church at Box 1133 in Shaunavon or call the Church Office and someone will come and pick it up from you.

The Christmas Food Hampers will be delivered the morning of Thursday December 15th.
