I had a chance to speak to Justine about her songs, and she said that a lot of her songs are written about heart felt moments that contain a lot of emotion in them. Growing up her idols that she has looked up to has been Tenille Arts, and Shania Twain and Taylor Swift.

Justine is also in the middle of a competition called CBC searchlight, which reqires people to vote for her to win this contest, and she says you can vote for her by going online to CBC searchlights and search for Justine Sletten and clicking vote.
