Today is McHappy Day at McDonald's Restaurants across Canada, where a dollar from every Big Mac, Happy Meal and McCafe coffee sold will go to local children's charities and Ronald McDonald House.
"Community support has been wonderful. The community comes out and supports us every year," said General Manager of the Swift Current McDonald's, DeePak Budhrani. "We'll have local volunteers on site, we're going to have the firefighters and Sparky the Dog, we're going to have local people serving up burgers and helping out sell big red shoes and collect donations."
This is the 22nd year for McHappy Day in Canada.
