Maple Creek's new Integrated Healthcare Facility continues to move closer to construction.
Cypress Health Region Capital Project Lead Brenda Schwan says they've submitted the detailed design report to the provincial Ministry of Health.
“In the next...three weeks, we'll hear back from the ministry if they have any concerns that are identified in the detailed design report. It is on budget so we're not anticipating any big concerns there”
Schwan adds they will soon place a sign just west of the existing Maple Creek Hospital indicating the future home of the new facility.
The new facility is targeted for a January 2014 completion date.
