The Saskatchewan Ministry of Health is taking exception to a new report that rates our healthcare system as the second worst in the country.

Saskatchewan's Assistant Deputy Minister of Health, Max Hendricks says a new study by the Frontier Centre for Public Policy misinterprets the statistics, and their methodology is misleading.

However, he admits there is always room for improvement and that's why the Health Ministry is reviewing the system in Saskatchewan.

The report used a 1000-point system based on criteria such as late wait times, services provided, and drug plans.  Our province scored just 600 points.
