As soon as the Halloween decorations come down, the Christmas lights will be going up.

     SaskPower is inviting all of their customers to make the switch to LED Christmas lights this season.

     Larry Christie with SaskPower Media Relations says switching to LEDs makes a tremendous difference.  One 5-watt incandescent light bulb uses as much power as 140 LED light bulbs.

     Christie says customers can bring in their old Christmas lights to participating retailers this weekend and next to receive a $3 coupon toward the purchase of LED lights.
