The severe thunderstorms that travelled through the southwest produced nickel sized hail in Bracken.

The severe thunderstorm warning has ended for the following region:

  • R.M. of Lone Tree including Climax and Bracken

However, the warning is still in effect for the following regions:

  • R.M. of Val Marie including Val Marie, Orkney and Monchy

A line of severe thunderstorms currently southwest of Val Marie are moving to the southeast at approximately 40 km/h. Nickel sized hail was reported from this storm in Bracken.

  • R.M. of White Valley including Eastend and Ravenscrag

Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain.

A line of severe thunderstorms currently near Bracken are moving to the east-southeast at approximately 40 km/h. Nickel sized hail was reported from this storm in Bracken.
