Although Santa is unable to make an appearance at the Wheatland Mall this year, he's still taking the time to visit children virtually through Zoom calls.

These calls can be done anywhere from any town or city and once you set up an appointment, Santa will email you a link for the Zoom meeting and will even email you a picture of himself and your child/children during the meeting or with a picture you provide.

Santa was certainly going to miss doing pictures at the mall this year and this way children can tell Santa what they want for Christmas and the meeting can even involve more than one sibling at a time.

To schedule a Zoom meeting with Santa you can call or text 306-741-4270 or email vkockridge@sasktel.net. Meetings can be scheduled from Monday-Friday after 5:30 pm and on weekends.

In order to make the meeting even more personal and special, once you arrange a meeting Santa will send parents a list of questions to be completed.

Santa says the calls have been going well so far and children are enjoying being able to tell Santa what they would like for Christmas and knowing that he is still coming this year.

Donations are being accepted for the calls if possible to go towards a special friend of Santa's who is required to have surgeries due to medical needs.

Santa wanted to find a safe and fun way to visit with children this year and still see them face to face and have that special interaction.

When asked what he would like for Christmas this year, he replied by saying he's looking forward to a day off after Christmas to relax.
